Mrs. Wynelle Adams Goff

Mrs. Wynelle Adams Goff, 90, of Sylvester died Tuesday September 14, 2010 at her residence. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday at Northside Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. James Chambers and Rev. Jerry Cooper will officiate. A native of Turner County, Mrs. Goff lived in Sylvester and Worth County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Rosa White Adams. Mrs. Goff was formerly employed with Manhatten Shirt Company in Ashburn, Peavy Farm Service and Gold Kist in Sylvester. Mrs. Goff enjoyed playing rook and loved her grand and great grandchildren. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, was in the W.M.U. and the Church Choir. Survivors include 2 daughters, Kathy G. Corley and Lynda G. Howard (Jack) all of Sylvester; son, Richie Goff (Janet) of Brunswick; sisters, Julia A. Young of Sylvester and Sara A. Griffin of Sycamore; grandchildren, Bryan Goff (Sherri), Brent Goff (Kassie), Jaret Goff, Adam Goff (Rebecca), Jaclyn Price (Britt) and Leigh Anne Howard; great grandchildren, Hunter, Nick and Brayden Goff, Parker Goff and Kendahl Price; numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece Gail Tompkins. Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by her husband Richmond Earl Goff, Sr. on December 5, 1992.
