Mr. Stanford Theo Denby, 56, of Sylvester died Saturday December 18, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Isabella Cemetery. Rev. Jason Jones will officiate. Mr. Denby was born in Sylvester, GA on June 22, 1954 and had lived in Dooly and Worth Counties all of his life. Mr. Denby was a former heating and air condition technician, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Leeila B. Denby of Sylvester; sisters, Ellen D. Williams (Perry) of Yulee, FL, Helen D. Clark of Merritt Island, FL, Glenda Clark (Robert) of Sylvester, Jennifer Plunket (Jim) of Bridgeport, TX; and a number of nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews. Mr. Denby was preceded in death by his father Mr. George M. Denby in 1998 and his brother, Monroe Denby in 1970. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
