Mrs. Sherrie Shiver Kuck Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Sherrie Shiver Kuck, 71, of Sylvester died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church with interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Jackie Cabaniss will officiate. Mrs. Kuck was born on February 12, 1946 in Sylvester to the late Jehune C. "JC" and Dorothy Souter Shiver. She had lived in Worth County most of her life. Mrs. Kuck retired from the Marine Corps Logistic Base where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Mrs. Kuck enjoyed playing the piano, card games and loved to travel. She also enjoyed working in her yard growing Christmas Cactus and Gerber Daisies. Mrs. Kuck was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Chad Kuck (Kelly) of Sylvester and Chris D. Kuck (Sarah) of Leesburg, grandchildren, Maegan Kuck, Chandler Kuck, Kathryn Kuck, Elizabeth Kuck and Jack Kuck; sister, Jean S. Bell of Sylvester; niece, Robin Hortman and nephew, Freddie Bell. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kuck was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R.
