Mr. Ray Toms

April 2, 1952 - February 15, 2021

Mr. Ray Toms, 68 of Worth County, died on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Cobblestone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Moultrie. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Isabella Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Jones will officiate. Mr. Toms was born on April 2, 1952 in Miami, FL., to the late Richard W. and Geraldine Frost Toms. He had lived in Worth County since 2017 after moving there from Alabama. Mr. Toms was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He retired from IBM where he worked as computer consultant. Mr. Toms was enjoyed woodworking, making wooden pens and working on the farm, but most importantly spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He attended Isabella Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Debra Toms of Worth County; son, Timothy Mathew Toms of Maryland; step-children, Panda Graf (Jessie) and Joshua Garcia; adopted daughter, Ashley Lunsford (Joshua); sister, Dianne Warren (Rick) of Barry , AL; grandchildren, Bruce Brantley, Alicia Brantley, Ashton Toms, Gavin Toms, Katie Ray Toms, Elijah Garcia and Gracie Garcia. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home. Please sign our online guest registry at www.banksfh.com.
