Mr. Ralph Ernest Williams

Mr. Ralph Ernest Williams, 88, of Jacksonville, formerly of Worth County, died on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Haven-Roberts Hospice Care Center in Palatka, FL. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Poulan Cemetery. The Rev. Todd Brooks will officiate. Mr. Williams was born on February 15, 1934 in Worth County, to the late Ernest and Mattie Blalock Williams. He had lived in Poulan, GA., most of his life and was a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Williams was formerly employed with Coats and Clark in Albany. Upon retirement, Mr. Williams moved to Welaka, FL., where he spent the rest of his life. He enjoyed fishing, and collecting antiques. Mr. Williams was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his sister, Annette Duke, Imogean Gay, and Margie Halstead; grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Matthew Williams, Hope Williams and Loni Sawadogo; several great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his two sons, Tony Williams on May 16, 2005 and Earl Williams on September 10, 2015; brother, W.L. "Buck" Williams.
