Mr. Lowell W. "Joe" Belston

Mr. Lowell W. “Joe” Belston, 75, of Sylvester died Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Carl A. Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday September 27, 2010, at Banks Funeral Chapel. Father Finbarr Stanton will officiate. Mr. Belston was born in Lovell, Wyoming on March 5, 1935, to the late Lowell Elbert and Verda Workman Belston. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force after 20 years of service having served in Viet Nam. Mr. Belston previously worked as an instructor at Turner Job Corps, and had retired from Peter Pan Peanut Company. He enjoyed working in his shop, and with his wife in their rose garden. He was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Patricia Desmond Belston, of Sylvester, sons, Lowell John Belston, of Sylvester, Donald Joseph Belston, of Garden City, NV, sisters, Edna Mae Brost, of Cowely, WY, Hyla Teters, of Lovell, WY, Five granddaughters and One great granddaughter.
