Mrs. Lois Clark Sandiford,70, of Sylvester died January 31,2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday February 3, 2012 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ed Waller, Rev. Lamar Robinson and Rev. Ken Willis officiating. Mrs. Sandiford was born on October 26, 1941 to the late Emmett and Doris Downs Clark in Worth County where she has lived all her life. She was retired from Flint River Mills. Mrs. Sandiford enjoyed reading and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church and the Ladies Ministries. Survivors include her husband Bobby J. Sandiford of Sylvester, children Danny Clark (Sharon) of Worth County, Joey Clark (Tonia) of Sumner, Don Clark (Mandy) of Sylvester, Jeanine S. Burton of Sylvester, Jeffrey Sandiford (Debbie) of Ocilla and Jennifer Cosper (David) of Lake Park, GA., sisters Emmie Jean Grubbs of Sylvester, Peggy Pittman of Sylvester, brother Johnny Clark of Sylvester, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
