Mr. Lewis Edward Hall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lewis Edward Hall, age 52, of Sylvester, Georgia, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 12th. Lewis was born on September 2, 1969 in Port Royal, South Carolina to Frank and Nancy Hall. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday July 17, 2022, at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the F.E. Hall Family Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Suggs will officiate. Lewis graduated from Dougherty High School in Albany, Georgia and from Auburn University. Lewis worked first in sales and later as an industrial electrician. Lewis found friends easily and lives in the hearts and minds of many who spent time with him. Lewis leaves behind a legacy of trash-talking while playing golf. He does this both with family and friends alike. He also created a reputation for umpire-hackling which helped him exit many sporting events earlier than anticipated. Seriously, y’all, we were so blessed to call this man family, and the absence of his daily injections of knowledge in our lives leaves an unspeakable void in our hearts. Lewis is survived by his two sons, Ian and Cole; his mother, Nancy; his brother, Roger (Dawn) and sister, Tammy; two nieces, Megan (Liam) Liu and Monica (Mitch) Willis; and two nephews, RD (Rainie) and Nicolas; daughter Karrel (Adrian) Morton (4 grandchildren) and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Frank and son, Eli. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until funeral hour at Banks Funeral Home.
