Mr. Larry White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Larry White, 65, of Warwick died Thursday March 24, 2011 at Crisp Regional Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 26, 2011 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church with interment to follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Rev. Carlton Webb officiating. Mr. White was born in Cordele, GA, on November 26, 1945 to the late Richard Elkin and Milo Raines White and had lived in Worth County all of his life. He had been employed with Griffin Truck Lines, Southern Ag. and Gordy Logistics. Larry loved socializing with family and friends and was Santa Clause to many churches and civic organizations through the years. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Black White of Warwick, daughter, Regina Nadeau (Nathan) of Cordele, brothers, Denver White (Wanda), of Leesburg, John White (Faye) of Warwick, James A. (Doodle) White (Bernice) of Sylvester; sisters, Mary Joyce Whitacre and Betty Jean Wright (Bowen) both of Warwick. In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Neil White. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
