Mr. Joe Daniel Adkins II

June 10, 1998 - June 8, 2022

Mr. Joe Daniel Adkins II, 23, of Sylvester, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Solomon Loud will officiate. Mr. Adkins was born on June 10, 1998 in Albany, GA. He had lived in Worth County all of his life and was employed with SA Mechanical and Welding Company in Sylvester. Mr. Adkins enjoyed spending time at the plantation, fishing, grilling, and riding dirt roads. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his daughter, Ella Grace. Survivors include his daughter, Ella Grace Mathis; fiancée, Abby Mathis of Sylvester; mother, Wendy Adkins (Scott) of Sylvester; siblings, Brittany Adkins, Jordyn Adkins, Katelyn Johnson, Taylor Adkins, and Faith Adkins and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his father, Joe Daniel Adkins on June 1, 2011. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home Chapel.
