Mrs. Idolia "Dinah" Hudson, 95 of Poulan died Monday February 22, 2021 at Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation in Moultrie. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday February 26, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery with interment to follow. The Rev. Mike Davis will officiate. Mrs. Hudson was born on August 16, 1925 in Worth County to the late, Preston and Mary Etta Gunn Salter. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. In her early years Dinah grew up working on the family farm, and later owned and operated Dinah's Diner. Later she worked as a floral designer at Bettye's Flower Shop and after retirement she worked with her son at Pap's Fried Chicken. Mrs. Hudson enjoyed cooking and helping anyone in need, but most importantly she loved spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include her children, Bobbie Hudson of Poulan, Larry Hudson (Lucinda) of Sylvester, Linda Kirk (Gene) of Panama City and Rock Hudson (Lisa) of Sylvester; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Mae Woodard and Shirley Drayton. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her husband, Lemmie Eugene Hudson, children, Roger Dale Hudson, Jerry Hudson, Bettye Bozeman and Jimmy Hudson; siblings, T.J Salter, Ettaveen Barfield, Bennie Salter and Ollie Mae Hufstetler. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:30 AM until service hour at Hillcrest Cemetery. Please sign our online guest registry at www.banksfh.com.
