Mr. Henry Rouse Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Henry Tillman Rouse, 87, of Worth County, died on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Isabella Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Dr. Jason Jones will officiate. Mr. Rouse was born on December 15, 1934 in Sylvester, GA.,, to the late Myrtha Clinton, and Ethel Mae Alred Rouse. He had lived in Worth County since 1986 and was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy for 24 years. Mr. Rouse was retired from the United States Foreign Service. He enjoyed woodworking, tennis, and traveling the Country in their RV. Mr. Rouse was a member of the Worth Lodge #194 F&AM and also the Isabella Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, David Rouse (Darlene) of Mitchell County, Michael Rouse (Terri) of Leesburg, Allen Rouse (Michele) of Thomasville, and Jim Rouse (Misty) of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Tonya Rouse, Steven Rouse, Austin Rouse, Sean Rouse, and Drew Rouse; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Margaret McDonald, Margie Ann Rouse Chase (Sidney), and Leonard C. Rouse (Olivia). In addition to his parents, Mr. Rouse was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Coley Rouse on October 10, 2021, 1 great grandchild and his siblings, Johnny Rouse, Juanita Coleman and Rachel Rouse.
