Mrs. Heather Elizabeth Alley Truesdale

Mrs. Heather Elizabeth Alley Truesdale, 44 of Woodstock died Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Northside Hospital in Canton from complications of Covid 19. Per her wishes, Heather was cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Heather was born on June 21, 1977 in Opelika, AL. She was a graduate of Albany High School and Johnson & Wales University in Miami, FL where she received her Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts. Following graduation Heather was employed with Islamorada Fish Company in the Florida Keys. She later relocated to Atlanta where she continued her career in Restaurant Management. Heather was an avid Auburn University and a New England Patriots Fan. She loved the songs by Lee Greenwood, God Bless the USA and Africa by TOTO and sang them often. Heather was a loving, wife, mother, daughter and loyal friend to all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, David Truesdale of Woodstock; daughter Ava Truesdale of Woodstock; mother Cathy Shumate Horne (Jeff) of Sylvester, GA; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Heather is also survived by her canine children, Biggie and Gus. Heather was preceded in death by her father, Mark F. Alley. Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester is in charge of arrangements
