Mrs. Essie Howard Hufstetler Booth, 100 of Norman Park, died on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her residence. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Paulk's Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Duncan and Rev. Mike Carter will officiate. Mrs. Booth was born on July 5, 1920 in Worth County, to the late John and Sally McDonald Hufstetler and had lived all her life on the family farm. She was a dedicated housewife, mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother who had a heart full of love. Mrs. Booth enjoyed cooking, the outdoors and growing flowers, but most importantly spending time with her friends and family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was a member of Paulk's Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Faye Dent (Fred), Ray Booth (Debbie), Charles Booth (Gale) all of Sylvester, Britt Booth (Faye), Paul Booth (Dorothy), Mitchell Booth, Jerry Booth all of Norman Park, Garlan Booth (Patsey) of Tifton; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Booth of Norman Park; grandchildren, Chad Booth, Gina Sneddon, Heather Booth, Samantha Booth, Charlie Booth, Dustin Booth, Michael Fowler, Rhonda Andrews, Angela Pezent, Jennifer Chambers, Tammy Sanders, Brett Booth, Garlan Booth, Jr., Maylon Benson, Kellie Walker, Will Booth, Cindy Goodwin, Colby Booth, Christopher Booth and Pam Vance and Farrah Willey; 39 great grandchildren; caretaker, Angela Jones. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her husband, Eulan (E.W.) Booth; daughter, Geraldine Benson; sons, Johnny Booth and Cody Booth; grandson, Ken Benson; granddaughter, Lindsey Booth; sons-in-law, Grady Benson, Riley McDonald and a daughter-in-law, Tina Booth. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the service hour at Paulk's Chapel Cemetery.
