Mrs. Ellie Will Odom Sadler

Mrs. Ellie Will (Bea) Sadler, 90, of Young Harris, GA passed away on December 18, 2011 at her residence following a brief illness. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at First Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Dr. Ben Bush officiating. Mrs. Sadler was born on December 22, 1920 to the late Clinton Ramsey and Vice Rebecca Young Odom in Sylvester. She was married to Malcom Sadler in August, 1940. Mrs. Sadler was a housewife and an Army military wife for 27 years. She had lived in Georgia, Alabama, Texas, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Alaska, and Hawaii. After their retirement she and her husband moved to Sylvester then to Macon for several years before moving to Young Harris in 2003. She is survived by her husband of 71 years Mack Sadler of Young Harris, GA, daughter Sandy Milleman (Don) of Young Harris, grandchildren Mack Brown (Marnie) of Zebulon, Georgia Owens (Mike) of Macon, Jeff Brown (Shalara) of Atlanta, great grandchildren Will Brown, Wendi Brown, Ashleigh Owens, Lucas Brown, brothers Louie W. (Buddy) Odom of Jackson, MS, Dr. Ronald Jack Boyd (Shirley) of Sharpsburg, George Alan Boyd (Freddie) of Moultrie and a sister Ramsella Cowles of Sylvester. Serving as pallbearers are Alan Boyd, Brent Boyd Charles Cowles, Will Brown, Matthew Owens and Mike Owens. For those desiring, memorials may be made to McConnell Memorial Baptist Church Attn.
