Mr. Earnest O'Neal Denham

July 19, 1937 - March 1, 2022

Mr. Earnest "Neal" O'Neal Denham, 84, of Sylvester died Tuesday March 1, 2022 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 5, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church with interment to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Carter will officiate. Mr. Denham was born on July 19, 1937 in Scooterville to the late Curtis and Julia Aultman Denham . He had lived in Worth County most of his life was retired from Universal Wood Components. He was a member of Goldleaf Official Association for over 40 years calling high school football and baseball games all over the state of Georgia, and was an avid Atlanta Braves Fan. Mr. Denham enjoyed fishing, reading his bible and spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mr. Denham was a United States Air Force Veteran. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Deloria "Ann" Denham; children, Mona Powell (Steve), Gina Crocker (Greg), Zack Denham and Crystal Carter (Joel); grandchildren, Nick Powell (Amanda), Lea Ann Barksdale, Chance Crocker, Zack Denham, Jr., Lyndi Dunn (Trey) and Courtney Carter; great grandchildren, Colt Powell, Cade Powell, Julia Barksdale and Callie Dunn; siblings, Lynwood Denham (Jo Ann), Sue Patton, Earl Denham (Teddie), Lee Denham (Gerry) and Mike Denham (Carol); brother-in-law, Norm Whisler; canine companion, Luke and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents Mr. Denham was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Ann Whisler, Merle Barge and Glenn Denham.
