Mrs. Dora L. Hornback, 64 of Dawson, died on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at the Poulan Cemetery. Mrs. Hornback was born on February 14, 1956 in Louisville, KY to the late Warren and Marie A. Wheeler Russell. She had lived in Dawson for the past year moving there from Louisville KY. Mrs. Hornback was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines and watching horse racing. Survivors include her husband Benjamin Hornback of Dawson ; sons, Steven R. Riggs (Theresa) of Lexington KY., Joel Daily, Jr of Louisville KY; daughters, Tammy Hayes (Julian) of Dawson, Angela Russell of Louisville KY and Amanda Hornback of Louisville KY; brother, James Russell of Louisville KY, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hornback was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Russell, brother, Warren Russell and a sister, Linda Hutchinson.
