Mr. Dennis William Haralson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Dennis William Haralson, 65, of Sylvester died Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. Mr. Haralson was born on May 10, 1946 in Moultrie to the late Guy Thomas and Alice Edna McLain Haralson. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and had lived in Worth County since 1978. He retired from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources as a Corporal and was employed with Plantation Security. Mr. Haralson was a member of Worth Lodge # 194 F & A M where he had served as Past Master and former District Deputy to the Grand Master. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Dempsey Haralson of Sylvester, sons, Mike Haralson (Doris) of Sylvester, Steve Haralson (Marie) of Sylvester, Marc Haralson (Vickey) of Sylvester, grandchildren, Dalton & Madison Haralson, Whitney Haralson and Amber & Austin Haralson, step-grandchildren, Tonya Giddens, Tiffany Lamb, T.J., Avery, Jalyn and Aidan McKellar, brothers, Donald Haralson of Dade City, FL, Tommy Haralson of Statesboro, sisters, Jean Hayes of Meigs and Betty Ford of Athens. The Family will receive friends on Thursday (TODAY) from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow immediately at Southern Woods Plantation.
