Mrs. Dawn Ann Penhollow White, 57, of Dawson, Georgia died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday April 8, 2022 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jeff Carter will officiate. Mrs. White was born on September 17, 1964 in Oceanside, California and was retired from the Movie Gallery as a clerk. She had lived in Dawson for the past 22 years and enjoyed bowling, fishing going to the beach and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Mrs. White loved spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include her husband, James White; children, Christopher White (Jennifer Longoria), Brian White (Malinda Goodman), Charles White (Amy); grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin, Ashton, Hunter, Pressley, Wyatt, EJ, David, Alexis, Hayden, Lyda and Bella; mother, Carol Eskew; siblings, Lory Barber, Jackie Eskew, Tom Eskew, Ted Penhollow (Brenda), April Penhollow (Dock), John Eskew (Jessica); mother-in-law, Thelma White; sisters-in-law, Terry, Tina and Tasha; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Travis, TJ, Jessica, Jakob, Justin, Blake, Lynsey, Braydon, Brentley, Brycen, Kayci, Serena and John; and a host of extended family members. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Theodore Penhollow and Jo Penhollow; dad, Jackie Eskew; sister, Helen Eskew; father-in-law, James T. White; grandchild, Lee White; Grandmothers, Helen Johnson and Ellenora Hannigan; grandfather, Harold Penhollow.
