Mr. David Lloyd Lawson

Mr. David Lloyd Lawson, 58, of Worth County, died on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in the Kimball Cemetery in Anderson City. The Rev. Bruce Gordon and Rev. Brian Norton will officiate. Mr. Lawson was born on February 13, 1963 in Columbus, GA., to the late Lloyd Junior and Winona Hart Lawson. He had lived in both Worth and Dougherty County most of his life and was retired from Proctor & Gamble in Albany, where he worked as a technician in the maintenance department. Mr. Lawson enjoyed fishing, hunting woodworking and watching College Football. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Lawson attended Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Michelle Varnadoe Lawson of Worth County; son, Clay Lawson (Kaitlyn)of Sylvester; grandchildren, Keagan McDonald and Rosalie Lawson; sister, Valerie Lawson and a half brother, Johnnie Phillips.
