Mrs. Cynthia Delores Burger Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Cynthia Delores Burger, 69, of Sumner, died Monday, July 4, 2022 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Pine Hill Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Walt Tompkins will officiate. Mrs. Burger was born on October 26, 1952 in Canton, GA. to the late Lewis Odom and Georgia Bell Wilkins Castleberry. She had lived in Worth County since 1973 and was the owner and operator of Delores's Touch of Beauty Salon in Sumner. Mrs. Burger enjoyed singing, dancing, and helping anyone she saw in need. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Burger was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of fifty five years, Dallas Burger, Sr. of Sumner; children, Cindy Dixon York (Paul), Teresa Cox (Chuck), Dallas Burger Jr. (Christie), and Ronnie Burger (Blanche); grandchildren, Cale Dixon (Anna), Kayla Dixon Sauls (Robert Pryor), Caleb Cox (Courtney), Shelby Cox (Abby Meador), Emily Cox (Peyton Downing), Madison Burger (Nathan Vice), Mallory Burger, Mandy Burger, Logan Burger, Jacey Watley (Dalton), and Gabe Burger (Hanna Bruce); great grandchildren, Rhett Dixon, Ryder Dixon, Bryce Sauls, Charlie Cox, Connor Cox, Aiden Watley, and Nola Watley; sister, Judy Nelson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM service hour at Banks Funeral Home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burger was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Duvay.
