Mr. Carlton Thomas “Tom” Scott, 69, of Sylvester died Thursday March 31, 2011 at Willson Hospice House in Albany. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday April 3, 2011 at the Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Mr. Scott was born on September 23, 1941 in Savannah to the late Carlton (Fully) and Leila Fields Scott. He was a long time salesman and later in Management with Snap On Tools and was in sales with Sears Roebuck and Company. Tom loved playing golf and was a life long Auburn University fan and also a Worth County Rams Booster. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and family man. Tom was a member of the Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, Mary Ann Stokes Scott of Sylvester, Tom raised four loving and grateful sons, Wayne Scott (Paula), Swainsboro, GA., Mark Scott (Amy) of Auburn, Al., Carlton Thomas (Tommy) Scott, Jr. (Mary Beth) of Lakeland, FL., Stephen (Steve) Scott (Julie) of Sylvester, other children include, Diane Sikes (Kenny) of Sylvester, Debra Bruce (Shane)of Enigma, Linda Landrum (Tony) of Moultrie and Gray McLean of Sylvester. A sister, Jane S. Landrum of Sylvester, 9 grandchildren, Garrett, Samantha, Anna, Ellie & Emilyn Scott, Kara Pylant (Perry), T. J. Landrum (Brandi), Kiana Landrum & Shayna Bruce,4 great grandchildren, Millie Kate & Jhett Pylant, Hartley & Cason Landrum. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until service hour of 3:00 PM at Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church.
