Mrs. Brenda Sue Deal Gann Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Brenda Sue Deal Gann, 78, of Worth County, died on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be held at 2:00 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Johnson, and Rev. Dudley Cook will officiate. Mrs. Gann was born on December 26, 1943 in Fort Gordon, Georgia to the late Cook Lawton and Wanda Marguarite Deal, Jr. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Gann enjoyed cooking, making quilts, and collecting antiques. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Gann was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Sylvester, and also a committed member of the DAR and the Women's auxiliary of the American Legion. Survivors include her children, Bonnie Ventura (Albert), Margie Jones (Gary), and Richard Gann (Lisa); grandchildren, Keith Allen Matthews, Christie Marie Matthews Fay (Joe), Jennifer Renee Matthews Novotny (Michael), Treavor Dean Jones (Erika Romona), Michael P. Lawton Jones, and Mackinsey Gann; great grandchildren, Miranda Matthews, Konner Matthews, Bryan Matthews, Grayson Matthews, Abigayle Fay, Jonah Fay, Jacob Fay, Nolan Novotny, Emmy Novotny, Penny Novotny; sister, Ann Brehm. sister-in-law, Shirley Reynolds; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gann was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin R. Gann on July 18, 2002; brother, Michael P. Deal.
