Mrs. Blanch Douglas Pressley, 70, of Ty, TY, died on Monday, August 31, 2020 at her residence.. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Independent Worship Center, interment will follow in the Poulan Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Henry and Rev. Tim Mathews will officiate. Mrs. Pressley was born on February 2, 1950 in Worth County, to the late Johnny Frank and Odel Hogan Douglas. She had lived in Worth County all of her life and retired from Sylvester Textile as a seamstress after many years. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Pressley was a member of the Independent Worship Center. Survivors include her children, Candy Pressley of Ty,TY, Earl Pressley, Jr., (Jennifer) of Butts County, GA., Michael Pressley of Brookfield, Blanche Burger (Ronnie) of Sumner, Cynthia Dove (Jeff) of Tifton and Josh Pressley (Wendy) of Ty, Ty; 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Red Bug Williams, Charlotte Allen, Tinnie Weldon, Peggy McEntyre; brothers, Jerry Douglas, Dallas Douglas, Willie Douglas and Roy Douglas. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pressley was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Pressley; siblings, Floyd Douglas, Barney Douglas, Wallace Douglas and Evelyn Mathews.
