Mrs. Alice Romell Hodge Holton

Mrs. Alice Romell Hodge Holton, 79, of Sylvester, died on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home. The celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Northside Baptist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Cargle and Rev. Gerald Mallard will officiate. Mrs. Holton was born on February 10, 1942 in Crisp County, GA to the late John William and Katie Lou Brown Hodge. She had lived in Worth County for over 20 years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cross stitching, bird watching, working in her flower garden, and being in the outdoors. Mrs. Holton was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Eddie L. Holton; daughters, Martha Hilton (Gary), Brenda Hester(Sonny), Sandy Allen, Robbie Maddox; son, Mike Holton(Starr); grandchildren, Matt DuBose, Adam DuBose, Kelly Hester, Kevin Hester, Emily Allen and Nicholas Holton; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Kay Hughes; brothers, Joe and Everett Hodge In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holton was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Holloway, and a son-in-law, Steven D.
