Mrs. Jimmie Singletary Wiggins Doyle

Mrs. Jimmie Singletary Wiggins Doyle, 90, of Tifton, and formerly of Crawfordville, Florida, and Sylvester, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Cypress Pond Senior Care Assisted Living Center in Tifton, Georgia. The Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday March 3, 2024, at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ike Branch will officiate. Mrs. Doyle was born on July 1, 1933 in Meigs, Georgia, to the late Fletcher Pitman and Minnie Law Singletary. She graduated valedictorian of Meigs High School, and later obtained her Master's degree from Florida State University in Business Administration. Mrs. Doyle volunteered in the Crawfordville Community and tried to help anyone she saw in need. She retired as a Medical Consultant with Ford Consulting Company. Mrs. Doyle was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan who enjoyed, traveling, sailing, reading her Bible and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Doyle was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Sylvester and also of the Seafarers Chapel in Shell Point, Florida. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Hamsley (Jim) of Sylvester, Lana Lane (Bobby) of Tallahassee, Florida, and Libby Reineman of Cody, Wyoming; grandchildren, Keith Hamsley (Stacie), Jason Hamsley (Erin), Paige Hamsley (Jack), John (Lee) Goodson, III, Alicia Wiggins (Denny) Ralph L. Wiggins, II (Katie), and Martha Frankenberry; great grandchildren, Reese, Ella, Cannon, Hunter, Aiden, Keaton, Abe, Eli, Killian, and a daughter-in-law, Missy Wiggins; siblings, Jackie Brunson of Shelby, North Carolina, and Larry Singletary of Jesup, Georgia; special friends, Terry & May Clark of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Doyle was preceded in death by her husbands', Ralph L. Wiggins, Robert Ford and Col. Joseph P. Doyle, MD; son, Marcus Ralph Wiggins and a grandson, Stephen Goodson. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until service hour at Banks Funeral Home.
